EarthTrac™ MSE systems have been used extensively for bridge abutment applications including both “true” abutments, where the bridge beams rest on a shallow spread footing (bridge bankseat) at the top of the MSE wall, and mixed abutments, where the bankseat is supported by separate supports (usually piles) located within the MSE mass.
