MSE walls have long been accepted as the technology of choice to provide grade separation in highway and transportation applications. The ability to withstand significant differential settlements without loss of structural integrity, rapid predictable construction, and architectural quality finishes make MSE walls an inherently cost effective choice. To achieve the greatest economy, MSE walls are often combined with MSE Abutments to allow the approach embankment and bridge supports to settle uniformly, eliminating the “bump at the end of the bridge”. EarthTec’s engineers have been involved with hundreds of highway projects and our systems have been successfully used on some of the most demanding projects around the world.
EarthTrac™ precast panel faced systems provide robust, economical, solutions that can be built quickly to very tight construction tolerances.
EarthTrac HA™ employs ribbed steel strips for use with conventional MSE fills. This system configuration has been more widely used on highway projects than any other.
EarthTrac PET™ and EarthTrac Ultra ™ incorporate geosynthetic straps instead of ribbed steel strips to provide new levels of performance, safety and buildability in aggressive soil environments. |
