MSE walls, incorporating free draining backfill and open jointed precast concrete facing panels, are a natural fit with marine structures. A properly detailed and specified MSE marine wall will drain quickly, ensuing minimal flood or tidal lag within the MSE mass. And since MSE walls can be constructed entirely from behind the facing, they are well suited to construction within coffer dams. The precast panels provides a durable architectural facing, providing years of maintenance free service.
